User guide
Everything you need to set up your store and start taking orders.
1. Create your account and store
Sign up with your name, email and a password. You'll land on a form to create your first store — give it a name and a URL slug (this becomes your shareable link, e.g. vendly.sg/s/your-store).
A store starts as a draft, so you can set everything up before customers can see it.
2. Connect Stripe to get paid
Open Stripe in your store's dashboard tabs and follow the onboarding flow. This connects your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect — Vendly never holds your money, and payouts follow Stripe's normal schedule to your bank account.
Your store can't accept paid orders until Stripe onboarding is complete (charges and payouts both enabled). You can check the status any time on the Stripe tab.
3. Add categories and products
Use Categories to group items (e.g. "Coffee", "Pastries"), then add Products with a name, price, optional image and description.
Each product can have option groups — for example "Size" (required, pick one) or "Add-ons" (optional, pick several) — each with its own price adjustment.
4. Configure store settings
In Settings, set your pickup or delivery instructions, contact details, opening hours, and any minimum order amount or advance notice you need for orders.
5. Publish your store
Once Stripe is connected and your menu is ready, publish your store from the Overview tab. Published stores are visible at your store link and can start taking orders. You can toggle a published store "closed" any time (e.g. outside opening hours) without unpublishing it.
6. Manage incoming orders
Paid orders appear in the Orders tab. Move each order through its stages — accepted, preparing, ready for pickup (or out for delivery), completed — and customers can track status from their own order link.
7. Understand fees
Vendly charges a small platform fee on paid orders only — nothing for failed or expired checkouts, no monthly or setup fees. Stripe's own processing fees are separate and shown alongside the platform fee on every order. See the pricing page for full details.
